the little yellow face next to my pokemon in pokemon pearl mean...............???????????

when ever i select summery of my pokemon some of my pokemon have a little yellow face to the right of them, what the heck does that mean? and the little gold ball to the left of them means ??

I don't know about the gold ball, but I do know that the yellow face means that the pokemon has had pokerus once, but is no longer infected. (pokerus is actually helpful; it encourages stat growth.)
