October Wedding Colors?

I'm getting married in October and I wanted to go with a fall/Victorian theme, but I'm worried I'll have too many colors and it'll end up looking terrible.

Next, the colors I wanted to use were red, chocolate brown or copper for the bridesmaids, and maybe some orange. Is that too much?

I have to chime in with 'just me'. No you won't have too many colors. They are perfect for Fall and they will look wonderful together.

A flower arrangement in brown, copper and burnt orange with red would look spectacular. Around here, in Fall, the Maple trees cover the hills in those colors along with golds and greens. The leaves are beautiful against a blue sky.

There is no reason your bridesmaids have to carry anything. But what will they do with their hands? I think they will feel a bit awkward with nothing to hold. People do expect them to carry something. The bouquets they carry can help tie together the decor, dresses and suits by having all these colors in them. So, I would give the bridesmaids bouquets.
