Is a white gold diamond bracelet better to buy than a sterling silver one?

I've been looking at bracelets online and i was wondering which is better in the long run? Does the silver tarnish or not since its sterling silver..?

For durability, and lack of tarnishing, the white gold bracelet will be a better option.

Sterling silver, although sometimes rhodium plated, will eventually tarnish from exposure to air.

White gold (which is a mixture of yellow gold alloyed with nickel) is very durable due to the hardness of the nickel, so it will last longer than silver. It is often, but not always, rhodium plated as well to give the white gold a brighter appearance but will not tarnish.
