Earrings Jewelry Nwt

What jewelry and hairdo with this dress? (pic inside!)?

its for a Xmas Holiday party with formal dress. I was thinkin maybe I could try a 50's style hairdo and kind of look retro... I have dark brown hair medium length. Should I do a necklace and earrings or just big earrings? Or a big statement necklace and studs? bracelet? I would like to incorporate black somehow as my shoes and hose are black. (and no worries - closed toed shoes with the hose!) Any Suggestions are welcome!! THanks a lot!!

Think Marilyn Monroe at a Christmas party. I LOVE your retro idea .. go for it! You're sure to get heads turning. I'd say go for black peep toe heels, wear red lipstick, do your hair in a 50's style & wear minimal jewelry. I think a simple strand of black beads would look gorgeous & fit in perfectly with the retro look!
